About aresangel Tools

A small independent set of browser utilities, built and maintained by one person who got tired of tool pages that bury the input box under three ad blocks and a newsletter modal.

What this site is

Free text, developer and security tools. No account, no upload, no quota. Each page does exactly one job and the input field is the first thing on the page.

How it is built

Static HTML, one stylesheet and a few dozen lines of JavaScript per tool. There is no backend to leak your input because there is no backend handling it at all - the pages are served as plain files and the utilities execute in your browser.

Corrections and requests

If a tool produces a wrong result, the most useful thing you can send is the exact input and the output you expected. Tool requests are read, and ones with a clear repeated use case get built.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with any of the platforms whose formats it works with. Base64, JSON, RFC 4122 and the SHA family are open standards.
