Short version: the text you paste stays on your device, and the only measurement on this site is an anonymous, cookie-free visit count.

What the tools do with your input

Nothing is transmitted. Every utility on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your text, JSON, passwords and file-free hashes are processed locally and are never sent to a server, logged, or stored in any database.

Analytics

Page views are counted with a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics service. It records the page path, referrer, approximate country, browser and device type. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile that follows you across sites, and does not collect the content of anything you type into a tool. No personal identifiers are stored, either by us or by a third party, and no data is sold or shared.

Advertising

This site may display advertising to cover hosting costs. Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads on this site; Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and Google's own policy on the use of cookies for advertising applies. If you object to that, a content blocker will not break any tool on this site.

Some calculator pages also carry clearly marked product links to Amazon. Those are affiliate links (tag aresangel-20); clicking one adds no tracking cookie beyond what Amazon sets on its own site, and nothing you type into a tool is ever attached to them. See the affiliate disclosure.

Third parties

There is no newsletter, no account system, no comment form and no outbound tracking pixel on the tool pages.
